20 times when Hallyu met Hollywood
Across all walks of life, the idea of Hollywood is a grand dream for many in the entertainment business. Great talent lives and breathes worldwide, yet one can’t help but get star struck at the idea of Hollywood. Thanks to our ever-changing world, Hollywood-based entertainers are more actively working in projects based in Asia and promoting their work there. It is great to see celebrities work and mingle with each other. Here is a list of 20 times South Korean stars worked and mingled with Hollywood actors and models.
1. Rain and Julianne Moore

2. Wonder Girls’ Lim and Leonardo DiCaprio
Lim flew out to Los Angeles to interview DiCaprio for KBS’ Entertainment Weekly about his new movie The Revenant.

INFINITE was invited to perform at the red carpet Seoul premiere of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. The group took a proof shot of meeting Cruise, posting it on their Facebook.
7. Eric Nam and Chloe Moretz
Nam posted on his Instagram a photo of him with Chloe Moretz prepping for SNL Korea. He was host to the actress and her brother, Trevor Duke Moretz, when they were in South Korea in May 2015.
8. Lee Byung Hun and Catherine Zeta-Jones
Red 2 co-stars Lee Byung Hun and Catherine Zeta-Jones paired up for a glamorous pictorial in the August 2013 issue of Elle. The photoshoot took place in Beverly Hills under the theme of "red affair."

10. Song Seung Hun and Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis is starring in a $56 million 3D Chinese war film, The Bombing, alongside Song Seung Hun, Hong Kong actors William Chen and Nicholas Tse, and Chinese actor Liu Ye. A photo of Willis and Song was posted on Song’s official Weibo, teasing fans for the epic movie.

When news surfaced of the newly crowned Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, being a huge Siwon Choi fan, many people were hoping the Super Junior member would also congratulate her, especially after seeing leader Leeteuk post his congratulations. Fans were elated to not only see Choi congratulate her, but also invited her to a Super Junior concert…talk about fan girl goals! With his congratulatory message, he posted along a photo of him with his co-star in Jackie Chan’s Dragon Blade, Adrien Brody. The photo and caption weren’t quite related, but here is hoping for a photo of Choi and Wurtzbach together in the near future!

20. Eric Nam and Jamie Foxx
Eric Nam has met quite a few Hollywood stars through interviewing. One of the most notable interviews he has done is with Jamie Foxx for his role as Electro in Spider Man 2! Foxx was impressed with Nam’s voice, writing, “I met this young man on Saturday when he came in to interview me about my role as Electro, as it turns out I was the one sitting across from a star. This young man’s name is Eric Nam from Korea and he is truly talented.”
