The 2014 Korea Drama Awards has announced the nominees for this year's categories, and the list reads like a clash of the titans with top actors and dramas pitted against one another in many categories. The Korea Drama Awards considers dramas from all three major broadcasting networks, KBS, SBS, and MBC, as well as cable dramas. Here are the major categories listed in the nominations.

Best Drama:

My Love From Another Star, Secret Love Affair, King’s Family, Empress Ki, and Jeong Do Jeon.

Best Actor:

Kim Soo Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun were both nominated for their work in My Love from Another Star, while Lee Min Ho was nominated for Heirs. Ha Ji Won was nominated for Empress Ki and Jo Jae Hyun was nominated for Jeong Do Jeon.
