2NE1's "I Am the Best" is continuing to gain more popularity as radio stations in both New York and Boston have added the song to their playlists. This past week, the hit song was played a total of 24 times on WBMP New York and 14 times on WODS Boston. Previously, "I Am The Best" had its best sales week in the US two weeks ago, selling 6,000 copies, and it also topped Billboard's World Digital Songs Chart. This is a great stride for K-pop because before this, the only artist to top this chart was 2NE1's fellow label-mate PSY. Another thing to note is that "I Am the Best" was released over 3 years ago, and its popularity is still increasing!

With news of CL's stateside debut in the near future, this quick rise of the group's popularity in the US is even better! CL will team up with music producer Scooter Braun to make her stateside debut. With the incredible success of CL's collaboration on Skrillex's "Dirty Vibe" along with G-Dragon and Diplo, we can hope her solo debut will be just as successful or even more!

You can watch the music video for the track "I Am the Best" below, which now has over 100 million views!
