5 K-drama actors that make you wish you were single and so ready to mingle
Drama land is a slippery slope. You start with thinking you're just going to watch half an episode while eating your cereal, and before you know it, it's been a week and you haven't left your room or interacted with any real humans, unless the ones on your screen count. And let's not even get to your emotional state. Basically, you have travelled multiple lifetimes, kissed your bias and eventually married him and had beautiful babies, until you realize it's all been one massive K-drama-induced dream. As you struggle to get back to real life and real-world dating, you find yourself questioning every single thing your man does. Thoughts such as "Why isn't he surprising me with a home cooked meal?" or "I am sure he doesn't love me if he can't even grab my hand and kiss me in the middle of the street," or the dreaded, "Ugh all he said is 'I love you,' whatever happened to 'I can't live without you. You're my heart, and soul and everything in between!'" To make matters even worse for you, we drew up a list of five K-dramas actors who took on characters that are so perfect and dreamy that they never make you want to date in the real world ever again.
P.S: Real world men, this list is dangerous. You have been warned!
This drama was all about fighting ghosts, but honestly we watched it for the chemistry between Ok Taec Yeon and Kim So Hyun, secretly wishing we could replace her. Can I get a hell ya! Reasons why every one needs a Bong Pal in his life? For starters, he's tall and handsome in the Mills and Boons kinda way, he's a generous and kind soul who respects his elders (remember his relationship with the Monk), and lastly, he protects and sticks by his love come what may! Seriously, where do they make men like Bong Pal and can I get a copy please?
Playing the character of Kim Je Ha, Ji Chang Wook showcases a range of emotions generally devoid in most IRL men. For starters he's tough on the outside (picture all shirtless fighting scenes here) and warm and gooey on the inside (think of how he treats Anna and the time he lost his first love). Also he has a great body which is such a bonus. Every single time you watch him on screen we bet you are thinking of ways to dump your boyfriend and find a portal into your laptop screen. Yup, us too!
A rich chaebol who isn't a spoilt brat, has great taste in clothes, dresses well and makes sure his women are dressed well, smells good (we haven't sniffed him personally, but we can guarantee he smells like a dream), is nice to his annoying mother, loves you even though you kissed another man, and can stop traffic so you can go nail that interview! Seriously, where can I find one of these? Bonus: He also looks like a millions bucks! Hold up, Go Jung Won, I'm coming for you.
He's the quintessential bad boy who can make you feel things you never knew you were capable of feeling. He teases you and troubles you and then makes your heart flutter by protecting you better than any insurance plan can. Seriously 4th prince Wang So, you need to make a trip to 2016. Also he pulls off a ponytail and face mask like no other man ever can. Prince Wang So is the kind of dreamboat you give up dating in real life for!
There are days (more like everyday) most of us don't wake up looking like a star. On days like those, all you want is a man who sees the beauty within your soul even though you haven't washed your hair for a week and a half now. And who might that man be? Nope, not the boy you met in the bar last night, but the boy who is always waiting for you under the "Browse" tab on DramaFever.com. And that boy/man is the very handsome Kim Young Ho, aka So Ji Sub. What's more? He will support your career and dreams and inspire you to be the best version of yourself. Did we mention he even loves sloths?
