1.  Remember You (Movie)

Starring Jung Woo Sung and Kim Ha Neul

Yun Suk Won (Jung Woo Sung from A Moment to Remember) knows nothing about his past. All he remembers is being left alone in an apartment. Desperate to find someone who knows who he is, Yun Suk Won wills himself to go outside. At a psychiatric hospital, he meets Kim Jin Young (Kim Ha Neul from A Gentleman’s Dignity). For some reason, she seems to start weeping the second she sees Yun Suk Won. This leads the increasingly confused man to think she knows who he is. For Yun Suk Won, this mysterious woman is the answer to figuring out who he is. But what he learns about his past may be something he would have preferred to forget. Also known as “Don’t Forget Me,” Remember You is a drama written and directed by Lee Yoon Jung. Jung also wrote and directed the 2010 short film “Remember O Goddess,” which was the basis for the movie.

2.  The Admiral (Movie)

Starring Choi Min Sik and Ryu Seung Ryong

The Admiral: Roaring Currents is a 2014 South Korean war film directed and co-written by Kim Han-min. Based on the historical Battle of Myeongnyang, it stars Choi Min-sik in the lead role of the Korean naval commander Yi Sun-sin As it recorded 10 million viewers in 12 days, it set a record for achieving 10 million viewers in the shortest amount of time. Also, the movie overwhelmingly surpassed Avatar’s original record of 13 million viewers to become the most watched film of all time in Korea (Source).

3.  Moss (Movie)

Starring Park Hae Il and Jung Jae Young

The villagers in a mysterious town kept asking him when he was going to leave. He should have gotten the signal. Ryoo Hae Kook (Park Hae Il from War of the Arrows) returns to his father’s village to attend his funeral. However, something is amiss. Ryoo suspects that his father was murdered. And, soon, strange things start to happen. The villagers keep asking him when he will leave. They also act very strangely. He learns about the village leader, Cheon Yong Deok (Jung Jae Young from Duel), who used to be his father’s acquaintance. Upon some investigation, Ryoo starts to see a trail of shady real estate dealings surrounding his father. He also gets attacked by the village elder’s henchmen. Soon, the conspiracy begins to unfold and Ryoo realizes that he is in the middle a crime so disturbing, even the villagers don’t talk about it. And, as the young son soon learns, the moss between the rocks carries secrets too dark for anyone to reveal. Directed by Kang Woo Suk (Fists of Legend) and written by Jung Ji Woo (Modern Boy), Moss is a crime thriller. The movie debuted on July 15, 2010 and was recognized at multiple film festivals around the world.

5.  Project Makeover (Movie)

Jung-Joo is 30-years-old, works in the fashion industry (but only as a low-level assistant) and just can’t seem to get things right in her life. One day she runs into high school friend Tae-Hoon.
