I have to admit that I have never watched a Japanese drama all the way through before, but since EXO's Kai was starring in the J-drama Spring Has Come, I thought I'd give it a shot. What started out as a rather cute but typical drama, turned into so much more, and by the end of the first episode, I couldn't wait for Saturday to come again for the next one! Here are 5 reasons why once you start this drama, you'll be addicted too!

1. The relatable female lead.

Kishikawa Naoko (Kurashina Kana)'s life as a single 31-year-old lingerie saleswoman is drab and dull. She lives with her struggling parents in a perpetually untidy house, and has little to look forward to with no big dreams of her own. She feels like she lives in a perpetual winter, that is, until she happens to run into the handsome Korean photographer Lee Ji Won (EXO's Kai).

Suddenly it's like her life is full of light and spring has finally come.

Spring Has Come is very relatable to anyone who longs for more excitement in their life.

2. The sweet romantic chemistry between the couple.

Unlike many K-dramas, where the male lead starts off cold and mean to the female lead, in Spring Has Come, Kai's character is immediately incredibly sweet to the female lead, even when her actions and family are a little strange.

3. The interesting peek into family life and culture in Japan.

One reason I love watching K-dramas is because you get a taste of what life is like in another country. Spring Has Come is fun to watch because you learn more about Japanese culture, language, food, dress, and family life.

 4. Kai's sexy shower scene.

No explanation necessary :)

5. The cliff hanger.

Towards the end of the first episode, things are going so well for our couple that you begin to wonder how this could possibly be a 5-episode series, but suddenly you realize that everyone around our heroine seems to be keeping dark secrets, including her new lover. Is he a good man and are his feelings for her sincere, or is he just playing a part to manipulate her? And what exactly are her father and sister up to?
