December is the time of the year many of us take on the task of buying a tree and decorating it to make it as beautiful as possible. Some of us go light-crazy, while others prefer to load their branches with 20 million different ornaments. 6. Lantern Lights
This tree was featured in the magazine Southern Living and belonged to a couple in Savannah, Georgia. This awesome tree is decorated with paper parasols, silk lanterns, and bamboo rods.

5. From Christmas to Chinese New Year
This tree is awesome because its owners got two uses out of it. First it was used as a traditional Christmas tree, and then it was turned into this cute Chinese New Year tree, complete with a dragon topper to celebrate the Year of the Dragon!

4. Bonsai Beauty
How gorgeous is this Bonsai tree? It's not a real tree, which is great because it'll last for years to come, but look at how pretty it is! It's frosted, and there are little baby birds who've been rolling in a fountain of glitter!
3. A Tree Made of Gold
I know it doesn't actually look like a tree per se, but Japanese jeweller Ginza Tanaka and Walt Disney Japan say it is, and no one goes against the mouse. This golden Mickey tree was created in 2012 to celebrate Disney's 110th anniversary. It contains 50 Disney characters, 88 pounds of gold, and cost 4.2 million dollars if you want it for your home.

If you have a love for sushi, why not make a Christmas tree out of it? This Japanese tree is made entirely out of rows of sushi rolls. It looks delicious!

Yes. That is a giant Godzilla Christmas tree with lights in the middle of a mall. This awesome tree was the center of attention back in 2000 in Tokyo. Not only did he stand there full of holiday cheer, but steam erupted from his mouth, and his eyes glowed as red as Rudolph's nose!
