A drama about food? How befitting to this holiday that literally celebrates food! While we had Let's Eat 2 on DramaFever for awhile now, we recently added Let's Eat to celebrate the festive season. The story is about a 33-year old paralegal divorcee who regrets her decision to marry before she was ready for it, and for that reason, attempts to carry herself with poise and dignity. Unfortunately, she is also an incurable gourmand, and can’t help herself around great food. Her close neighbor at her home, the Royal Family Condominium, is the mysterious Goo Dae Young, another food fanatic who paradoxically loves eating at fancy restaurants but hates being asked why he is eating alone. He also lies a lot, but is nothing but truthful in his colorful, forthright descriptions of food. Together, both neighbors spend their lives in relative isolation, only finding true love in the form of delicious kimchi. But when there is a mysterious murder in their area, can both these culinary soul mates continue the search that will invariably lead them to each other and, more importantly, to the perfect meal? Psst. besides yummy food the drama also has some cute dogs! Make sure you binge watch both dramas!
One of the season's biggest hits is now on DramaFever! A gender bender historical drama about mistaken identity bringing about unmistakable love starring Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung. Hong Ra On has one of the most unique jobs in the Joseon Dynasty: she disguises herself as a man named Sam Nom and gives great dating advice to lovelorn souls seeking to woo that special someone. Because of one of the letters she writes to help win someone over, she ends up meeting Lee Young. But little does she know that Lee Young is actually the future Crown Prince Hyomyung. Lee Young, for his part, also doesn’t know that Hong Ra On is a woman. With both their interests in each other intensifying, things start to get more than a little weird. And those weird things get even weirder when Ra On is sold into the Royal Palace as a eunuch and becomes involved in a political power struggle. Is this a dilemma a dating guru and handsome royalty can solve, or will the darkness of the clouds of greed and deception enshroud the love in the moonlight?
One of our biggest successes, this drama can be best described as an emotional rollercoaster! I bet all those SCH fans posting heartbreakingly hilarious memes on social media will agree! This historical epic drama has stars like IU, Lee Joon Ki and lots of cute boys to ogle at. But the heart of this drama is a beautiful love story that spans eras, proving that true love can even survive time. Without giving away any more information, SCH is a drama you HAVE TO WATCH, if you haven't already. But if you have, then time to re-watch the epicness!
This amazing action drama just came to an end, which means you can now binge watch the entire series over the course of this weekend. Two cute actors, (hello Ji Chang Wook or Yoona), lots of shirtless scenes, kick-ass fighting sequences, political evilness and an adorable love story! Also did we mention shirtless scenes?
A personal favorite, there are so many reasons why I love this drama. A few being, its a lovely story line that explores so many relationships, it's has a spunky lead actress (Gong Hyo Jin), a cute second lead who gives us major second lead syndrome (Go Kyung Pyo), its modern and hilarious and oh there's cutie Jo Jung SUk as well! An absolute must-watch and if you need any mopre reasons here's one!
Ha Suk Jin and Jun So Min star in a romantic comedy that proves the greatest wealth you can inherit is finding someone you love. A rich chaebol is in for a rude awakening when he realizes that his grandfather has not left him the entire inheritance he is so fond of. Instead, that key to that fortune has gone to Kim Da Hyun (Jun So Min), a strong-willed elementary school teacher who is a complete stranger to Lee Jae In. And perhaps being a stranger isn’t even the strangest aspect of Grandpa’s will: in order to get his inheritance from her, Lee Jae In must marry Kim Da Hyun and live with her for six months. Can a marriage brought upon by someone else’s force of will ever blossom into something more meaningful, or will the arrogant chaebol pack up with his inheritance as soon as this contract of matrimony runs out?
One of our faves of 2016! Park So Dam and Jung Il Woo star in a steamy spin on a classic fairy tale that is sure to make you believe in love again. A bright college student who dreams of becoming a veterinarian. Unfortunately, she loses her mother in a car accident, moves in with a cruel stepmother, and has no money for her education. One day, she helps an old man and as fate would have it, moves into a gorgeous mansion with three equally gorgeous men, who also happen to be billionaire cousins and heirs to the Kang family fortune. Will she find her prince charming and get her fairytale or will she go back to her old life? You have to watch to find out!
Feng Shao Fen and Victoria Song star in an epic fantasy about love, war and deception. After a vicious battle between the Empire of Snow and the Fire Tribe leaves most of the royal family dead, Prince Ka Suo (Feng) reluctantly accepts the throne. This leads to turmoil with his half-brother, who now decides to become the Fire Prince, leading the tribe that works against his brother. Meanwhile, Ka Suo also loses the woman he loves, Li Luo (Song), the fearless envoy for the guards he was not allowed to marry because she wasn’t of royal birth. Years ago, the battle destroyed Ka Suo’s family, love and empire; now, another war threatens to end the last relation he has left. Adding to the tension is the Fire Prince’s mother, Lian Ji (Faith lead lady Kim Hee Sun), an invincible supreme being who causes chaos for fun, and the Fire Tribe’s royal daughter Yan Da (critically-acclaimed actress Zhang Meng), a stubborn girl with a dangerous interest in Yin Kong Shi. Based on the best-selling novel City of Fantasy by Guo Jing Ming, Ice Fantasy is directed by Ju Jue Liang and features set designs from Dan Hennah. The drama also features work from the international visual effects company Pixomondo.
