I love K-pop collaborations. Whenever a new collaboration between two K-pop artists comes out, I do a little happy dance. Here are 9 of my favorite K-pop collaborations from the past 5 years. There are some collaborations I'm dying to see happen (Hyuna and TOP anyone? Someone please make this happen!). Which would you add to you must-see list?

1.Hyuna & Hyunseung “Troublemaker”

Hyuna from 4Minute and Hyunseung from BEAST sure make fantastic music together. I love the whistle hook and how the chorus picks everything up. The video is a treat for the eyes as well, especially when they dance together.

2.Big Bang ft. 2NE1 “Lollipop”

Sure this one is old, but it's just so good we had to add it to our list. This song is what helped 2NE1 get their start on the K-pop scene. It shows the mad skills of Big Bang and is still a favorite for those reasons.

3.Bang Yong Guk ft. Yoseob “I Remember”

With powerful rapping and strong melodic vocals, this song is hard to beat. Be warned the video is intense, but it tells a powerful story.

4.Taeyeon & The One “Like a Star”

I love the story of how The One was Taeyeon's vocal trainer when she was younger and how they decided they would meet each other again when they were on the top. It brings such sweetness to their collaboration.

5.HA:TFELT ft. Beenzino “Bond"

Unfortunately not a real M/V, but just listen to this song — it is so, SO good. Her voice is incredible, sultry, and everything you want in a female vocalist. It has a sassy melody and an industrial, instrumental backing.

6.G-Dragon ft. Lydia Paek “R.O.D”

This song has a great rhythm, starting off with almost a reggae vibe. The chorus is very catchy with powerful meaning behind it, rather than the usual over-produced numbers.

7.San E and Raina's  “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness”

A dreamy R&B hit with perfect interplay between melody and rapping. Plus it has a super sweet video! This is one of my all-time favorites.

8.SuJu ft. SNSD “S.E.O.U.L”

Just a fun and sweet-sounding K-pop song. Catchy melodies and a happy sound, with a cute video that celebrates the love of Seoul!

9.Taeyeon & Jonghyun “Breathe”

Although this song has some flaws, it still is a beautiful ballad by two powerful singers. I'd love to see them have a little more chemistry live, but overall this song is not affected by it. Nice instrumentals, and great vocals.
