Every K-drama fan dreams of making the perfect pilgrimage to South Korea to see the gorgeous filming sites of their favorite Korean dramas. I was recently able to take the trip of a lifetime, thanks to the  Korea Tourism Organization, and here are 9 of my absolute favorite K-drama sets that you must add to your list!

1. Boys Over Flowers and Secret Garden Resort

Seaes Hotel & Resort, Jeju Island, 2563-1 Jungmun-dong, Seogwipo, Jeju-do, South Korea

This stunning island resort is not only the perfect romantic getaway, but it also checks off the list for fans of popular K-dramas Boys Over Flowers and Secret Garden. Who could forget the way Jun Pyo tried to seduce Jan Di at this island getaway, or the perfect kiss between Kim Joo Won and Gil Ra Im on the bench overlooking the ocean?

2. Suncheon Open Film Set

24, Biryegol-gil, Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do

This incredible film set contains three villages that are perfect replicas of what Seoul looked like in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Countless dramas and movies have been filmed here, including  Baker King Kim Tak Goo and Gangnam Blues. The set is also very interesting for history buffs as it doubles as an interactive museum. You can dress up in clothes from the past and walk the streets, and even eat traditional Korean street food. My favorite part was seeing young couples dress up and take cute photos together, and older people dress up in the uniforms they grew up wearing to relive their youth. This is a definite must-see place on your Korean vacation!

3. Coffee Prince House

Sanmotoonge Cafe: 97-5 Buam-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea

This was one of my favorite stops of the whole trip, and it was a total surprise! We set out to find the Coffee Prince Cafe, but ended up here at what was  Lee Sun Gyun's house in Coffee Prince. I absolutely loved this house in the drama, and it's amazing to see it in real life. Luckily, it is now a cafe that you can enjoy, and it has the most amazing views!

4.  The 1st Shop Of Coffee Prince

337-2, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul

Every true Coffee Prince fan must see where all the magic happened in real life at the real Coffee Prince Cafe! The cafe is full of signed memorabilia from the cast, and is a really fun stroll down memory lane.

5. Architecture 101 Cafe

Cafe De Seoyeon 2937, Wimi-ri, Namwon-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju Island

In the film Architecture 101, Seung Min realizes his dream of becoming an architect and builds his first love Seo Yeon's dream house. It is now a gorgeous cafe in real life, and definitely worth the stop to see, not only the fun tributes to the hit film and the cool architecture, but also the stunning ocean views!

6. Jeju Island Gatsby Cafe

Cafe 봄날, 2540 Aewol-ri, Aewol-eup, Cheju, Jeju-do, South Korea

This bright and fun cafe set the backdrop for where Lee Jung Joo and Baek Gun Woo worked and fell in love in Jeju Island Gatsby (Warm and Cozy). The cozy cafe serves a variety of different delicious drinks and has ocean views to die for, not to mention the adorable corgis just begging to be pet!

7. Mint Restaurant (Glass House)

 2/F, Phoenix Island Resort, 127-2 Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju

This incredibly beautiful restaurant not only has the most delicious food and amazing views, but it was also the setting for such dramas as  Boys Over Flowers, Legend of the Blue Sea, and Queen In Hyun's Man. Stroll the stunning grounds to walk in the steps of the stars, and indulge in a "Western style" meal to feel really fancy!

8. Lie to Me Beach

Hamdeok Beach, Sinbuk-ro, Jochon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea

Lie to Me was my very first K-drama, so this location is special to my heart! When Gong Ah Jung runs off to work at a museum on Jeju Island, Hyun Ki Joon chases after her, and they have a beautiful reunion set against the stunning turquoise waters, white sand, and black volcanic rocks of this beach.

9. Namsan Seoul Tower

105 Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan 2(i)ga-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea

Home to countless K-drama scenes, like  Oh My Ghostess and Boys Over Flowers, come to Seoul Tower to see a 360 degree view of Seoul, place a romantic love lock declaring your undying affection to your partner, and relive your favorite K-drama moments!
