9 K-drama things you wish would happen to you in real life
There is no doubt by now that K-dramas are addicting. And many a K-drama fan have found themselves spending hours immersed in the lives of fictional characters. This is mainly due to the fact that the stories are not only very engaging, but also portray the ideal world we sort of wish we could live in.
In a world where many of us are forever single, who wouldn't want to just step out of the door and "accidentally" headbutt a hottie with a chiseled body, who is coincidentally as attracted to us as we are to them? So it's no surprise that sometimes we can't resist daydreaming about our own life being a K-drama. Here is a list things that happen in K-dramas that I wouldn't mind happening to me.
1. COMING HOME TO HOT OPPAS FROM YE OLDEN TIMES
If it were me in this situation, I would start singing "It's Raining Men" instead of attacking them with a frying pan. Lord knows I do a rain dance from time to time, especially lately, for the gods to shower some Park Yoo Chun and Lee Min Ho on me. The single life is no joke. So bless the time traveling lords who would fulfill such a thing.
2. STALKING A HOT DUDE UNTIL HE FALLS FOR ME
Stalking is no laughable business... but the big guy above knows I would follow So Ji Sub aka Joo Joong Won from Master's Sun to the ends of the earth and go all Twilight "I like watching you sleep" creepy on him. #NoShame
3. MARRYING GOO JUN PYO FOR HIS MONEY
Yes, please buy me random stuff. Every time I receive a new bill in the mail I ask, "Where is my Goo Jun Pyo?" He's a jerk - but he's a jerk with money who can settle all my student loans. For every one of his jerk-moments he can buy me a new purse, and I can walk the pain away in those new expensive Louboutin shoes. I'm not saying I'm a goldigger but...you know the rest.
4. BEING THE FIRST-AID GIRL: RELIEVING PAINS AND PLASTERING SMILES
I'm not gonna lie. The broody aloof attitude is a gateway to my heart, sir! If you have a dark, painful past, then that's just the cherry on top. Therefore, I have three words to describe Eu Dae Gu of You're All Surrounded: De.li.cious.
5. TWO HOTTIES CATFIGHTING OVER ME
Sometimes, K-drama boys act no different than animals in the jungle. And for some reason, apparently, there aren't enough girls in fictional Korea because most girls are usually unwilling participants in a strange love triangle. So in K-dramaland if you want the girl, you gotta fight for her. It's a girl's dream come true to have two hot cousins like Cha Ji Heon and Cha Moo Won getting down and dirty, and brawling to get into her good graces. Where is this magical land, and can I live there?
6. DUMPING THE MAIN GUY FOR THE SECOND LEAD
If you've ever been in a unrequited sad love story you know what I'm talking about. There is nothing more gratifying than to have the person you lust after for a very long time finally realize how much of a gem you are. However, something more gratifying would be to say "No, thank you," and date the second lead instead. Cold, you say? Yes, but what took Trash Oppa so long? Besides, second leads like Chilbongi are usually hotter and nicer anyway.
7. HAVING A TORRID LOVE AFFAIR WITH A YOUNGER MAN
It's not unusual for people to have a younger significant other in real life. However, in K-dramaland there seems to be a hidden censure when older women date younger guys that turns the whole experience into an exciting "forbidden love story." Can you imagine having an eager and zealous guy like Yoon Dong Ha fulfilling your every wish?

8. DATING A DUMB CELEBRITY FOR HIS LOOKS
9. CHOOSING BOTH SUITORS
Sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Why do we have to choose between two perfect guys when we love them both? Besides, it's the age of "A girl can have it all." One is good for my pocket and the other is good for my soul. That's what I call holistic love. So y'all get yours because I'm getting mine. If loving two is wrong, I don't wanna be right.
