It's now almost impossible to watch a K-drama and not see a well-marked coffee shop in the background. Here is a list of some of the most common chains that appear in dramas time and time again. How many of these names do you recognize?

1. DROPTOP (As seen in Tomorrow's Cantabile and Pretty Man)

DROPTOP is a master at putting their perfectly concocted drinks on display for us viewers. Very rarely do the characters actually drink the drinks, but the drinks sure do look tasty!

2. Dunkin' Donuts (As seen in Doctor Stranger)

Dunkin' Donuts is certainly not a new name for most of us drama watchers, but this international chain has been popping up in recent dramas like Doctor Stranger. Who can forget SISTAR's Bora playing the Dunkin' Donuts clerk? That DD hat is not her best look...

3. Mango Six (As seen in Heirs)

I. Want. That. Mango. Smoothie. You have to admit that the Mango Six product placement in Heirs sure was effective. It may have been over the top, but I'm still craving a taste of that mango drink! But seriously, Mango Six and their mango smoothie is everywhere in that drama.

4. Caffe Bene (As seen in Secret Garden)

Remember the trademark foam kiss in Secret Garden? It actually happened in a Caffe Bene! Not many of the other cafes on this list can boast that such a popular scene appeared in their shop!

5. Dal.Komm Coffee (As seen in You Are All Surrounded and Mr. Baek)

Dal.Komm is another chain that has been appearing in a variety of dramas. Both You Are All Surrounded and Mr. Baek featured a number of scenes at their cafes. Their desserts sure look tasty!

6. A Twosome Place (As seen in Master's Sun)

Master's Sun's inclusion of A Twosome Place may be my all time favorite use of a coffee shop in a drama. Their coffee loving ghost is the best!

7. Tous les Jours (As seen in Dream High)

Don't you wish your school had a Tous les Jours as your cafeteria? The students in  Dream High sure had some nice lunches!

8. Hollys Coffee (As seen in Rooftop Prince)

Anyone else now really want a Hollys Coffee mug?  Yoo Chun is the perfect model for it.

9. Coffee Bay (As seen in Healer)

Those watching Healer know that the main character's father owns his own Coffee Bay coffee shop. At least once per episode, you'll see this set being used.(It's kinda hard not to notice...) I sure wish I could live above a Korean coffee shop!

Watch Park Min Young and Ji Chang Wook team up in the thrilling action romance Healer:

Bonus: The Coffee Prince Coffee Shop

While it didn't start out as a coffee shop chain, this iconic cafe actually sparked the creation of a Coffee Prince franchise. Not only can you still visit the original Coffee Prince shop, but other locations are now scattered throughout Seoul!

Did you recognize all of these shops? Which cafe do you want to try out first? Also, what do you think of this type of advertising?
