Every K-drama fan dreams of making the perfect pilgrimage to South Korea to see the gorgeous filming sites of their favorite Korean dramas. I was recently able to take the trip of a lifetime, thanks to the
Korea Tourism Organization, and here are 9 of my absolute favorite K-drama sets that you must add to your list!
Japanese boy band MeseMoa. is causing quite a stir in the J-pop music scene with their music video for their song "Shadow Kiss". During the video, each of the members take turns kissing each other and it's sparking widespread discussion on fangirl tropes and the use of headline-making concepts. In total, there are 36 kisses, each one between the different members. While it might not be for everyone, it certainly is an eye-catching video.
After their hard work on the hit drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, the cast and crew received a well deserved all expenses paid vacation to Bali! During this time of relaxation and fun, actor Park Hyung Sik, who plays the charismatic chaebol Ahn Min Hyuk in the drama, was kind enough to share some must see photos from their trip! As the spotlight continues to focus on North Korea in world news due to ongoing geopolitical tension, it's interesting to learn more about one of the most reclusive countries in the world through the lens of South Korean cinema and dramas. Naturally, some of the stories are action thrillers, but many are also romantic adventures. A gripping experience is guaranteed.
Another K-drama fantasy came true! Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo costars Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk acknowledged dating via agency on Monday, April 24, 2017. “We confirmed with Lee Sung Kyung and Nam Joo Hyuk, who’ve been friends since they were models, that they started dating recently,” a YG Entertainment representative said.
My Secret Romance-mania is running long and strong at DramaFever office! We just can't seem to get enough of our adorable lead actors and all their cutesy antics. To top if off, the story line just keeps getting better. Case in point, Episode 3 where the mom (remember the one who was an adult actress? Yep, her.) comes back with a little baby boy in tow! Lo behold, he's three years old! The exact age, as Sung Hoon and Song Ji Eun's fateful one night stand. While he is apparently her mother's son from her latest marriage, it just has us wondering....is he really?
My Secret Romance-mania is going strong at the DramaFever HQ's. And part of the reason (actually THE ENTIRE reason) is super cute lead, Sung Hoon! From the very first scene, this actor have been giving us major heart eyes and then the moment he showed up in swim trunks was the ultimate! I mean have you see those delicious chocolate abs? A little more internet snooping on this cutie, lead us to his Instagram account and lo behold.....its glorious!! We rounded up 7 of his CUTEST Instagram posts that convinced us he's totally stalking-worthy! Ready?
Jang Mi Kwan has scared the K-drama out of us for weeks, but he is really a great guy behind that killer mask.
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon's resident villain is as terrifying as they come. He abducted, beat and pretty much tortured young ladies and their entire town for weeks before Bong Soon intervened. The pretty boy who turned crazy man is played by actor Jang Mi Kwan, and he admits in a recent interview with TV Report that playing kidnapper Kim Jang Hyun wasn't easy.
