If any of you got the midweek blues, here are some photos and a little story that will have you feeling warm and fuzzy in no time. Recently, some residents from a city near the Kaveri River in southern India saw a sight they'd never seen before, and luckily for the rest of us, someone captured the moments on camera. The photos are of a wild monkey, which, after having found an abandoned puppy, decided to adopt the little creature as its own. Too sweet!

Pandas, and more specifically, baby pandas, are some of the most playful animals around, often seen laying and rolling around without a care in the world. With countless online videos showing these gentle creatures amusing themselves, it's pretty much impossible to pick the cutest. But this recent video of a cuddly baby panda messing with its caretaker pretty much takes the cake.

Video of bird who speaks fluent Japanese will blow you away

Japanese is considered to be one of the hardest languages to learn, but apparently not for this bird, who speaks it fluently. Granted, this feathered linguist was raised in Japan, but still . . . You just have to watch the video, because the bird can straight up have a conversation!

Bunnies on Japan's Rabbit Island are still there and waiting for food

I must admit that when I first heard about ÅŒkunoshima, Japan (a.k.a. Rabbit Island) last year, a shiver went down my spine because all I could think of, despite the adorable pictures, was the horror/sci-fi movie Night of the Lepus. (Don't laugh! LOL) But some months and umpteen images later, I've softened up to those cute, feral "wabbits" that make the island their home. They're not mutated giants wanting to munch down on horses, cows, and men! No, no. They're just little bitty critters who'd like a bite of your lunch!
