One thousand Japanese fans will be entering Korea to pay tribute to late Hallyu
star Park Yong Ha (born 1977) who committed suicide on June 30, 2010. They will be placing wreaths, flowers and lighting incense at Bundang Memorial Park on the 30th. Following Park Yong Ha’s 20th Anniversary for his domestic debut, a photo exhibition and video conference will be held together with acquaintances from Korea and Japanese fans.
The sister of the late star, Park Hye Yeon, a representative of Yona Entertainment stated, “We arranged this event to remember Park Yong Ha again and to commemorate his 20th Anniversary, gathering all of his performed works."
In Japan, the 2013 Park Yong Ha Memories Tour In Japan
will be held on July 13 starting in Tokyo, through July 28 to Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, for a total of 5 cities.
Director of Yona Entertainment Kim Jae Hyun revealed, “In local Japan, fans are celebrating the day of Park Yong Ha on April 8 every year, also known as ‘Yona Day,’ holding various events.”
A film concert encore screening consisting of Park Yong Ha’s activities will also be held until next month on the 5th in Tokyo Cinema Roppongi. Movie, The Scam
