It was a serious discussion about South Korean President Park Geun Hye's impeachment, but when Professor Robert E. Kelly's kids wandered into his home office, all that the internet viewers could think about changed. The swift and viral reaction is both thought-provoking and hilarious!

South Korea's Constitutional Court has upheld the impeachment of President Park Geun Hye, who becomes the nation's first democratically-elected leader to be forced from office. Following the news, Professor Robert E. Kelly, an associate professor of international relations at Pusan National University in Busan, South Korea, gets online for an interview with BBC.

As the broadcast begins, a cute little girl wearing an attention-getting bright yellow top appeares. She sneaks up behind her dad who is focused on the computer screen in front of him.

Watch what happens next!

Even if you could keep a straight face like what the professor tries to do, it's hard to believe anyone could stop laughing when the second child, a baby in a walking chair, saunters into the room too.

A woman rushes in and takes the two kids away as quickly as she can. We then see her crawling back to close the door.

The immediate reaction in the internet has been swift and huge, probably vaulting the political science professor and his very cute children to unimaginable fame by now.

The discussion includes praise and appreciation for people who work from home and have to balance among multiple demands. Some posters noticed that it was a bedroom doubling as a home study. Some opined that the professor probably only put on a suit for the broadcast. Mostly just about everyone, especially from the crowd of many workers these days who work from home and conduct business meetings online, expressed a connection in kindred spirit for the professor who was trying to keep calm and was even smiling under pressure.

Another focus has been on the woman who quickly took the kids out of the room.

Initially some posters assumed she was the nanny. Wrong!

She is Professor Kelly's wife, Jung-a Kim, who is now famous for her own appearance in the online broadcast.

After taking the children out of the room, she tried to close the door without notice, except the entire episode has now become one of those best internet recordings that will likely stay on forever and ever. (The BBC broadcast clip on YouTube has been viewed over 10 million times since it was posted on March 10.)

We wish the best for Professor Kelly and family! Hopefully they will have their peace and quiet back soon but probably not before getting calls from American talk shows.

In the meantime, President Park Geun Hye's impeachment has embroiled South Korea for months and the country won't know who the next leader is until the special election to be held in two months.
