First and foremost, I would like to declare that I'm a fan of After School. Cool?
After School released their official album "Virgin" yesterday, and also released a full music video to their single "Shampoo." In the music video, Raina is featured as the new trainee joining the rest of the girls before their debut, and they practice a tap dancing routine with their choreographer. The single also marks the debut of new member E-Young.
While I'm not a fan of the title of the song (really? "Shampoo"? Are they saying I should be singing this song in the shower?), I do enjoy the mellowness of the song. It's pop, but not one of those annoyingly repetitive kinds of songs (cough* Gee-Gee-Gee-Gee-baby-baby-baby!*cough).
This second music video is "Let's Step Up," which is the conclusion of the "Shampoo" MV. In it, the girls show off their skills in tap dancing, which they had practiced in the first music video. Amazing.
You can check out group member UEE in You're Beautiful, or in Birdie Buddy (which sadly has been dropped from broadcasting schedules, but the trailer lives on!)
