'Avengers' sequel will film in the Gangnam district of Seoul
Nearly a month ago, it was announced that the sequel to Marvel Studios' The Avengers would be shot in South Korea. Now, the final details are set confirming that many key portions of Avengers: Age of Ultron will be shot in Korea's capital of Seoul and in the Gangnam district.
The Korean Film Council has recently stated that from March 20 to April 12, the film will be shot on several bridges in Seoul including the Jamsil and Mapo Bridges. Also included in the shoot locations is the Gangnam district where Gangnam Station, Teheran Boulevard, and Cheongdam Bridge will all be used in the film.
Marvel Studios has signed with the Film Council this week agreeing on all of the terms of the locations. Seoul law enforcement officials are also preparing for the shoot that will take place in some of the busiest parts of the city where crowds of people will undoubtedly flock to see the movie in action.
