What do you think about this season's cast of rappers, idols, and wannabes on Unpretty Rapstar Season 2?

1. Name: Kim Yubin

Stage name: Yubin

Where you might have seen her already: As the lead rapper for the Wonder Girls, who just had a very successful comeback.

Company: JYP

Years in the business: Yubin debuted with the Wonder Girls in 2007 after member Hyuna (yes, that Hyuna of 4Minute) left. As the lead rapper for WG, she has performance experience, but the contestants from the underground scene can still teach her a lesson or two.

Bully or #boss?: As an idol, Yubin knows how to play the cameras. She’s sly and honest without going full blast on any of the other contestants.

2. Name: Kim Hyo-jung

Stage name: Hyolyn

Where you might have seen her already: Known for her strong vocals in SISTAR, Hyolyn was recently featured at the Infinity Challenge music festival.

Company: Starship Entertainment

Years in the business: Hyolyn debuted with SISTAR in 2010, but performs as a vocalist, not a rapper — something that’s pointed out multiple times over the series.

Bully or #boss?: Hyolyn is a #boss at controlling her emotions on camera, mentoring the other contestants, and taking responsibility for her own failures with humility.

3. Name: Lee Yezi

Stage name: Yezi

Where you might have seen her already: Yezi debuted in 2012 with the K-pop girl group Fiestar.

Company: LEON Entertainment

Years in the business: Like the other idol contestants, Yezi has experience on the stage, but not as a rapper.

Bully or #boss?: Yezi’s bully or #boss status is tough to determine, and as a viewer you should decide for yourselves. Her dismissive and rude attitude towards Sua (thanks, TV editing) leans towards bully, but that “Crazy Dog” performance? Total boss.

4. Name: Kim Bomi

Stage name: KittiB

Where you might have seen her already: KittiB is one of the underground rapper contestants.

Company: N/A

Years in the business: KittiB already has several years in the underground scene under her belt, but she doesn’t lord that fact over the other contestants.

Bully or #boss?: Boss! KittiB knows her worth, is (mostly) kind to the other contestants, and doesn’t let the competition get her down (for too long.)

5. Stage name: Truedy

Where you might have seen her already: Truedy was already performing rap concerts before her stint on Unpretty Rapstar.

Company: N/A

Years in the business: Truedy is still a rapping rookie in the underground scene, but a lot of people have already heard her name.

Bully or #boss?: A bit of both. Truedy’s rapping skills are boss level, but her pettiness against Sua and lack of cool handling in the diss battles weren’t as strong.

6. Stage name: Sua

Where you might have seen her already: Unless you're her classmate, you probably haven’t seen Sua before — she’s only 17!

Company: YG

Years in the business: Sua is still a trainee at YG, so she has practice but no real experience.

Bully or #boss?: Sua is a little young to be a boss, and as the youngest she mostly just stays out of the fray.

7. Stage name: Heize

Where you might have seen her already: Despite being a relatively successful underground rapper, unfortunately most of what’s written about Heize deals with her relationships with other male rappers.

Company: N/A

Years in the business: Heize has experience in the underground scene.

Bully or #boss?: Heize leans towards boss when she’s confident in her abilities, but she did not take that diss battle well.

8. Name: Ellen Serine Lee

Stage name: Kasper

Where you might have seen her already: Kasper was a contestant on Show Me the Money 4 as well as a current member of the hip hop group Play the Siren.

Company: Baljunso (record label)

Years in the business: Play the Siren debuted in 2014.

Bully or #boss?: Kasper stays pretty quiet on the confessionals and her raps are good, but not quite boss level.

9.Stage name: Gilme

Where you might have seen her already: Gilme has been active in the underground rap scene for well over a decade.

Company: N/A

Years in the business: As the oldest cast member of Unpretty Rapstar, Gilme has the most experience as a female rapper.

Bully or #boss?: While her raps (at least on the show) tend to disappoint, Gilme’s positive attitude, mentoring figure, and history in the business make her a straight-up boss.

10. Name: Ahn Soo Min

Where you might have seen her already: Soo Min was a contestant on Show Me the Money 4.

Company: N/A

Years in the business: Soo Min competed on SMTM4 and was already active in the underground scene.

Bully or #boss?: Soo Min is somewhere right in the middle. She doesn’t ruffle many feathers, but her raps don’t take her to the next level, either...

11. Stage name: Ash-B

Where you might have seen her already: Ash-B is an underground rapper.

Company: N/A

Years in the business: Ash-B has been performing as an underground rapper for a few years before her appearance on Unpretty Rapstar.

Bully or #boss?: In the beginning of the series, there’s some beef with Ash-B and certain diss tracks that were released before the show. The drama fizzles before anyone’s the real B.
