Blackout drunk man sets his car on fire to stay warm
We all do what we can to stay warm. Sometimes it's wearing extra gloves, a hat, or even crying a lot and hoping our tears are warm. But we would venture to guess that rarely have you ever felt so cold that you thought to yourself, "This would be a great time to set my car on fire." That is exactly what one man did in Nanjing, Jiangsu province in China.
The man was very drunk, and because he got so cold from sitting on the ground, he thought the best thing was to set his Volkswagen Beetle on fire. The surveillance footage catches the man sitting on the ground and then picking up grass to burn his car around 6 a.m. The craziest part of the story is that the man was so drunk that he did not remember any of the incident until the authorities had to remind him the next day.
After beginning to recall the incident, the man said, "I thought burning the car would keep me warm. I left after the fire became big because it got too hot." Well, when you say it like that, it kind of all makes sense.
