BREAKING (UP): Yoo In Na and Ji Hyun Woo call it quits
This week will go down in Hallyu history as "Week of the Breakups." Kim Woo Bin's back on the market, Kim Bum and Moon Geun Young have split, and Kris is breaking it off with EXO. Another (now ex-) couple that has hopped on the breakup train is Yoo In Na and Ji Hyun Woo, and I'm
NEVER SMILING AGAIN bummed out to say the least.
In Na and Hyun Woo shared an undeniable chemistry on the set of their 2012 drama, Queen In Hyun's Man, which eventually led to a public declaration of real life love, and a real life relationship. Hyun Woo left for military service about a month after the announcement (the two never had good timing in real life or drama world, huh?), but stayed loyal to each other. When Hyun Woo was discharged on May 6, rumors started swirling about the pairing when he was asked if the couple had split and could not give a definitive answer.
While we're not sure when the breakup was personally official, it is publicly official now, as both of the actors' agencies have confirmed it.
The two have plenty of work ahead to keep them distracted, with Hyun Woo's upcoming drama Trot Lovers and In Na's upcoming Chinese film Wedding Bible, which also stars Godfrey Gao and Ahn Jae Hyun. We hope they've parted on good terms, and we're sure that they will find happiness and success, and eventually, love again.
(Ehem, I volunteer as tribute.)
