BRILLIANT: Artistic Chinese clouds at the Beijing Design Festival
Chinese contemporary artist Liu Wei took his first step into the world of design with this cloud-like canopy. Built at the Cao Chang Di Pavilion during Beijing Design Week, the outdoor installation features a number of multimedia stations that are roofed in by clouds hung from near-invisible threads.
The clouds are made of inflated plastic and can have images projected upon them.
