Buddha statues survive typhoon, but hang their heads in sadness
Two Buddha statues in Guangfu Temple, located in Guangdong China, were damaged by a high power typhoon that swept through the region. The Typhoon, named Usagi, brought winds reaching up to 75 miles per hour, and damaged the steel structure of the statues. Netizens noted that the statues look like they’re “depressed”.
In China, the Typhoon destroyed more than 7,000 homes and killed 30 people.
