CASTING NEWS: Han Ji Min considers leading role opposite Hyun Bin in Hyde, Jekyll, and I
A representative from BH Entertainment confirmed that Han Ji Min had received an offer for the role in Hyde, Jekyll, and I, explaining, "It is one of the productions that Han Ji Min is reviewing. If it gets confirmed, we will share the good news." It would be Han Ji Min's first drama since Rooftop Prince in 2012.
The series, which comes from the writer of Cheongdamdong Alice and is based on the webtoon Dr. Jekyll Is Mr. Hyde, tells the story of a chaebol who suffers from dissociative identity disorder (multiple personalities). One personality is kind and warm, while the other is cold and aloof. If she accepts the role, Han Ji Min will play a woman who falls in love with both personalities, essentially creating a love triangle with only two people. I guess that should make second lead syndrome easier?

Hyde, Jekyll, and I would also mark a reunion between Han Ji Min and Hyun Bin, who worked together in the movie The Fatal Encounter earlier this year. In that case, they played enemies, as Han Ji Min was the concubine of Hyun Bin's grandfather. The Fatal Encounter comes to DramaFever in November, so it will give us a chance to catch a glimpse of the two together before the show begins!
Of course, all of this is purely speculative until Han Ji Min actually makes a decision. What do you think? Should she take the part, or do you envision someone else paired up with the dual Binnies? Hyde, Jekyll, and I will air after the end of Pinocchio in January.
