It's been confirmed that actor Hyun Bin has signed on for his first K-drama after being discharged from the military early last year. After completing his mandatory military service, Hyun Bin opted for the lead as King Jeongjo in the historical film The Fatal Encounter earlier this year as his comeback role.

Now Hyun Bin has finally made his way back to the small screen as the lead in the upcoming K-drama Hyde, Jekyll, Me. This new drama is said to be based on the classic novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde written by Robert Louis Stevenson. However, this version will fall into the romantic comedy genre and is written by Kim Ji Woon, who also wrote the script for Cheongdamdong Alice

How exciting is this sounding?! We all know by watching Alice that writer Kim Ji Woon really has a knack for creating crazy, off-the-wall types of characters. It should be extremely fun watching Hyun Bin tackle the role of a character who possesses a split personality.

Hyde, Jekyll, Me will be directed by Jo Yong Gwang, director of 49 Days and Queen of Ambition, with a planned release date sometime in January 2015.

Will you be adding Hyun Bin's new drama  to your "must watch" list?
