Every year, the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival in China completely dazzles with its amazing ice and snow art. And this year's festivities have undoubtedly kept up with the traditional.
The festival is currently in its 31st year, and it began on January 5. Navigating the ice extravaganza is simple as it's divided into two distinct sections, the Ice and Snow World and the Sun Island. Each piece is carefully sculpted with mind-blowing detail and precision.
A perfect time to visit the Harbin festival is at night, when many of the exhibits are lit up in an array of immaculate colors and designs. The pieces cover everything, including snowflakes, trains, pianos, angels, and even horses.
