China's Zhou Qi confirms his entry into 2016 NBA draft
As diverse as the NBA is, it has been awhile since we've seen a player from China after Yao Ming's retirement. But it seems like things are about to change with the big man Zhou Qi who is as tall as 7'2"!
The 20-year-old's agent announced that Zhou has plans to join the NBA and would leave the Chinese national team (Xinjiang Flying Tigers) if he is selected in the first round of the draft. Zhou's height and offensive skills have captured the attention of NBA team like the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns and the Memphis Grizzlies. He is currently projected to be a late first round talent in the 2016 NBA draft.
