CL becomes first Korean female solo artist to crack billboard's hot 100
History has just been made. On Tuesday, CL's debut EP Lifted debuted on Billboard's Hot 100, making her the first Korean female solo artist to be ranked in America's premiere music chart.
Good things are happening for CL. As she prepares for her Hello Bitches Tour 2016, her first solo tour of North America, her management company just announced yesterday that her solo debut EP Lifted had entered the Billboard Hot 100 at #94, grabbing a coveted spot on the iconic music magazine's weekly chart. This accomplishment makes CL the first Korean solo artist to do so, which obviously is a pretty big deal.
With hopes of climbing higher in the charts, CL will kick off her North American tour in New York on October 29, performing in a total of nine cities until November 14. For those interested, her stops are listed below, with tickets still available online. With some momentum behind her, the tour promises to be something special for all her American fans.
