CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa enlisted yesterday afternoon at Camp Seungri, also known as the Victory Division, in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province. Hundreds of fans showed up at Camp Seungri for the last goodbye. After about a month of training here, The Package actor will serve in the army for 21 months.

Yong Hwa had planned to enlist quietly, according to his agency. On the day of enlistment, however, over 300 fans gathered to see him go.

The fans were waiting in front of the base camp since as early as 9 a.m., and many of them were Yong Hwa’s international fans. One of the residents in the vicinity of Camp Victory, who runs a convenience store, told Star News, "Actor Song Seung Hun used to serve here. I was surprised to see so many Japanese fans of his back then. It's my first time seeing this many foreigners since Song Seung Hun."

There were four busses parked at the base camp parking lot, which groups of the international fans seem to have rented, according to Star News.

Yong Hwa tweeted on Sunday, “Hi guys, I'm enlisting tomorrow. Stay healthy and I'll root for your aspirations. I'll be well so don't worry about me. I wish you all the happiness. Here's for a short goodbye!”

Yong Hwa may be gone for a bit, but we have The Package and other shows starring him to keep us company! Some of the highlights include: You're Beautiful, Heartstrings, Marry Him If You Dare, and Three Musketeers. Also, don’t forget to check out Evergreen, a new rom-com starring Yong Hwa’s bandmate Lee Jong Hyun.

Best of luck and stay safe, Yong Hwa!
