Want to flush your toilet remotely? There's an app for that! Japanese company Lixil is releasing three new Satis model toilets in the spring of 2013. Toilet users will now be able to control activity related to the toilet via the My Satis app, available only on Android. The Bluetooth connection will aid in basic functions such as lifting the toilet seats, flushing, playing music through the speakers and so on. Japanese toilets are already well-known for their sophistication and advanced technology for the bathroom enthusiast. Now you can monitor your usage history to see how much your electricity and water bills are going to be. And that's not all—you can set up a toilet diary to monitor your visits to the toilet, to check on your health.
The commercial below demonstrates how the app will function.
