Convenience store clerks fight crime by throwing giant paint balls
There are tons of effective ways to fight crime. Batman has batarangs, some people have Mace, and now Japanese convenience store clerks have giant paint balls. The giant paint balls are called "crime prevention color balls," and they are designed to explode on a criminal on impact.
So if an unsuspecting criminal tries to make a getaway with stolen merchandise, all a convenient store employee has to do is pick up one of these bad boys and throw it as hard as they can on the perpetrator. It's actually a pretty smart idea given that the criminal will then have to walk around covered in paint and will be easily identifiable by the authorities.
The giant paint balls will definitely leave a noticeable mark, and chances are you'll probably have a really good time throwing one.
