When Cheetah Platt and Rhiann Woodyard got engaged last year, they initially discussed having a traditional wedding. But after having difficultly deciding what to do for their nuptials, they settled on the coolest idea ever: travel the world and have 38 weddings in 83 days.

The couple's incredible journey started on February 8, and so far they've been to Kenya, Spain, Ireland, Colombia, and India to name a few. When the trip is completed, the couple will have gotten married in six total continents.

Through meticulous research and with the help of friends and family, the couple has been able to do the trip very inexpensively (less than $3,000 each for flights landing in 11 countries). Platt and Woodyard are both Los Angeles-based acrobats, which is partly why their pictures are so unbelievably stunning.

Since the couple each became ordained from the church of Spiritual Humanism, they're both able to perform wedding services for themselves at each destination.

The groom described their incredible journey so far. “It was exactly what I wanted, to travel the world with my wife and marry her again and again and again in so many different ways,"  Platt said. "That was perfect for me. I feel like there are more people sharing this wedding with us than if we had rented a single venue for a single day and tried to invite everyone in the world that we knew."
