The impossible has now become possible for anime fans, thanks to Kuwagata, a graduate-level art student studying animation at Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan. With the creation of her special 2.5 dimensional animation mask, now anyone can turn into an anime character.

Dedicating herself to the study of digital design and animation, Kuwagata has succeeded in making masks that look completely 2.5 dimensional. With the signature huge twinkly eyes seen in Japanese animation, these masks will turn you into a real-life anime character. What may be the coolest thing about Kuwagata, besides her obvious talent, is her willingness to share, as seen by the free link she has provided on tumblr for anybody who wishes to make one of these masks for themselves to download. All you need is A4 copy paper, a pair of scissors, some glue, and two rubber bands. Then, just after following the proper steps, you too will enter the 2.5-D world. The mask comes in 4 different types, as seen by the cover photo.

Kuwagata, despite still being a student, is recognized in the Japanese animation world as a rising star, selected as one of the top 100 creators of 2013. You may be hearing about her in the very near future.

Here is the download link. Enjoy!
