Dad colors children's drawings to connect with them when he's away
If I had someone like Fred Giovannitti to illustrate my drawings growing up, chances are they wouldn't have looked like chicken scratch. Giovannitti is the incredibly dedicated and talented father of Jaxton (5), Sofia (8), and Freddie (9), who illustrates his kid's drawings when he's traveling.
Their process works by the children outlining their drawings in black and white and then the elder Giovannitti takes over adding color and pop to each piece when he's on the road. As you can see, the results truly speak for themselves as the beautiful illustrations could easily be in children's books or cartoons.
The superstar dad is also a tattoo artist and entrepreneur who additionally helps out on marine ecology projects. But Giovannitti's most important work is his collaborations with his kids.
