I’m really growing to like pretty much all the characters in this drama. Yeah, of course some are cuter than others – I’m looking at you Ah Rang ^^ - but this is definitely a fun drama filled with great characters and growing friendships and relationships. I also love this set-up – and the resulting love triangle – with the “idol”, the high school girl, and Ah Rang. And I agree with Shai, I think the growing friendship between Ah Rang and Min Young is lovely and sweet.
On a completely different note, is it just me or does “Master” look a little like an older version of T.O.P from Big Bang? I had to ask because I've been wondering for a while.
*cry* Ray’s talk with Ah Rang made me cry. So cute, so sweet, so heartfelt but so sure of himself and his feelings. Totally what I want in a guy. Too bad he wasn’t older… and a real person. ^^ And then Ah Rang’s speech to Se Kyung was so heartfelt and I teared up again. Damn, I’m going to spend this entire show with tears in my eyes if this keeps up. Okay, it sounds like I’m complaining but I’m not, I’m loving all the cuteness and romance but it is making me cry.
You might have noticed that I'm a romantic. I love having a crush – and almost always have one – it soothes my romantic soul. I think it’s why I love Korean dramas so much, they're often so romantic and adorable. What about you? Do you like having a crush? Would you use the Cyrano dating agency to help you?
Okay, I wonder if Byung Hoon sympathizes with Ray because of his love triangle in high school. Love the plot within the plot and how we are slowly getting to know the characters. I’m the queen of unrequited love (read: crushes) and missed chances so I’m starting to sympathize with Byung Hoon as we learn more of his back story.
Speaking of which – crushes and unrequited love – while I love having one and generally do have a quiet crush on someone, even I’ve never been as babo (silly/stupid) as the new client in episode 6. Totally want to see how this turns out as they seem so unlikely.
And like Shai said (I agree with pretty much all of her post), Min Young is definitely not a cook – wow, did you see that potato? There was nothing left of it after she “peeled,” or rather cut, huge chunks off of it.
I really do think “Master” is growing on me. Okay, I liked him right from the start as he’s mysterious but ultimately nice. Still not sure what his deal (or rather story) is – he seems to know a lot about Byung Hoon and be friendly with him even as he’s the loan shark’s boss (I think?). I’m so curious about this character and backstory. Regardless, like Shai said before me, I love how he’s so sweet with Min Young.
Aww… love really is in the air, Moo Jin is falling for the peppy waitress, Hye Ri. He’s so quiet but is turning out to have a romantic soul too. The cute – and growing – relationship between Moo Jin and Hye Ri is so sweet. Moo Jin seems completely oblivious – even to not know what kind of girl he likes – and I loved how he just flat out asked the waitress “What kind of girl are you?” But the heart rate monitor going crazy was the cutest thing!
And finally, the anticipated love triangle between Min Young, Byung Hoon and “Master” is finally starting. Good on “Master” to simply ask her out! I can’t wait for episode 7! If there was any doubt before, I’m hooked! What about you? How are you liking Dating Agency: Cyrano so far?
