Happy Saturday, Cyrano Agents!!! First, hope you all are having a phenomenal weekend. Sadly, I'm typing this through a fever, but all will be well in a few days :D Second, how awesome were episodes 5 and 6? I think I'm really beginning to get a good grasp on the story (Okay, maybe not a FULL grasp but a pinch nonetheless). And third, how can I begin to write the wrap-up after fanserviced
's great reviews? This is going to be hard to even come close to how great they were, but I will try. Bear with me...
I love how we know have a love triangle between the leads. well it's kind of a love triangle. Still not sure what Master's motives are behind asking Min Young out, is he trying to make our robot Boss Man jealous? Is he out to get revenge? Or does he just simply like Min Young as the previews state? Probably the first and last one only because I can't see revenge being a plot point in this drama, way too dark for a rom-com. OMG! We found out one of Master's secrets! *Claps like Fany* Daebak! Drum roll please......Cha Seung Pyo aka Master is a gangster! Dun Dun Dun! Oh what is Min Young getting herself into?
I agree with Cindy's post when she mentioned how perhaps Byung Hoon sympathized with Ray over his unrequited love and it did remind him of his past with Yi Seol. Ray got the courage to say something, as did Se Kyung, whilst Byung Hoon never got the chance because his friend got to her first. You know? I wonder if Yi Seol actually liked Byung Hoon and not Do Il, but changed her mind due to his confession..hmmm...food for thought.
I know some viewers say that the story is moving too slow and while I do agree, it's not really draggy to me. The writers have set the story up very nicely so now that we get a fell of all the characters, we now get to enjoy the awesome ride that is DAC. For instance, we see just how close Ah Rang and Moo Jin really are and how Byung Hoon actually has a heart buried inside that cold exterior of his. We can slowly see him shedding his seriousness, especially when it has to do with Min Young. Did you all notice when he acknowledged that she was right his and Ah Rang's situation? Score 1 for Min Young, even though she didn't hear him actually say it. See? Gong Stone is actually right for a change.
Now you know what I want to see? One of Min Young's ex-boyfriends. Not to make things complicated, but just to get more of her background. I am happy how there are no evil, annoying, or selfish (these can be all rolled into one btw) family members( i.e. mothers, fathers, grandmothers, grandfathers). I do also hope that the Yi Seol story will end next week, she doesn't seem vindictive and appears to have really loved Do Il so praying no delusional never been girlfriends/exes from any of them.
Now, to answer fanserviced's question about my favorite part of these episodes. It was a very hard decision so I'll choose two.
1. Min Young's reference to k-drama U-turns. I love it when a writer inserts things like this, it just makes me smile how they can take a jab at many k-drama staples.
2. Master and Min Young's moment. I do ship Byung Hoon and Min Young, but you can't deny the sizzling chemistry these two have. I was fangirling at the cooking lesson^^
Well that's it for me, must go to sleep if I want to feel better. My question to you: How are liking where the story is going? Who do you ship?
See you all next week!
