Can I just begin by asking, "What's up with Papa Liang?" Here we are, one episode away from the finale, and Papa Liang, rather than facing his problems and dealing with them like a responsible adult, decides it's better to just run away from everyone and everything. What's up with that?

As if Papa Liang hasn't caused enough pain and suffering for his family, let's add an amazing disappearing trick into the mix and get the fabulously unstable Mama Liang all worked up so she can teeter on the brink of a total meltdown; way to go Papa Liang! You deserve the Husband of the Year Award with that one!

On the upside, at least having a Papa Liang gone AWOL means both Mama Liang and Xiao Shu can turn to the always dependable Zhou Zhen, who gallantly answers all their cries for help. I have to say, I'm very happy to see Zhou Zhen stepping back into the knight in shining armor role because let's be honest, he makes that armor look dang good (though maybe that's because I'm just happy I don't have to hate him anymore...) Whatever the reason, I'm more than thrilled to see Zhou Zhen and Liang Xiao Shu back together and acting as if they'd never been apart as it makes putting up with all of Papa Liang's crap a lot more bearable.

Thankfully there's more in this episode to smile about than there is to gripe about and most of it stems from Nainai and all of her matchmaking shenanigans. Oh my word! Who needs a matchmaker's candy when you've got Nainai around? I absolutely loved watching her try to pair up Gao Zhe Xuan and Ying Ying, mostly because she was just so darn cute! Of course Ying Ying was completely embarrassed by Nainai (and rightfully so) but Zhe Xuan took all of Nainai's nonsense so well in stride that you have to wonder if he's not already had a change of heart. I mean there was that moment at the gate when Zhe Xuan assures Ying Ying he isn't going to be scared off by Nainai that you could really feel there may be more between the two than friendship, but Zhe Xuan just isn't ready to admit it...yet. You know he's going to have to admit his feelings for Ying Ying soon because there's only one episode left, I just wish it had been this week so we could have had a little more time to watch the two together as an "official" couple.

Of course Ying Ying and Zhe Xuan weren't the only ones I was hoping would become "official" this week. I was really hoping to see a lot more development between Jessica and Fei Li because with a single episode between us and the end, they've got the farthest to go. I will admit I let out an audible squeal of delight when Jessica agreed to have coffee with Fei Li, mostly because up to this point she hasn't ever really given Fei Li a chance. Though it did seem a bit awkward, at first, watching the two sit silently sipping their coffee, once their conversation got started things got a bit more interesting. I'm now thoroughly convinced Fei Li and Jessica will be together by the end; I just wish they'd been given more time together so we could have watched their relationship grow. I suppose that's the biggest problem with this show, the OTP have been given more than enough time together but the second, third, and even fourth couples have kind of all been thrown together at the end. Still, we've got an entire episode before we have to say goodbye so there's still time for all of our couples to live happily ever after, and you know there's at least one proposal we have to look forward to...*Woo-hoo!*

So what are your thoughts on this next to the last episode? Do you think Papa Liang will show up and confess his wrongs, or is he gone for good? Do you think Zhe Xuan has fallen for Ying Ying, or is he really just her friend? What do you want to see happen most before next week’s end? Let me know in the comments below and I’ll be back later this week to let you know what I’m hoping to see happen before we say our final farewell.
