Wait, Zhou Zhen is actually a total badass? Um. Totally digging it. (Pun maybe intended). It is so nice to see that asshole Jason getting what he deserve too. Bravo.
The relationship progress between Xiao Shu and Zhou Zhen is so cliché and obvious but I love it. I love how they are slowly warming up to each other and beginning to care for each other. That texting scene was definitely appreciated.
And the tarot cards say they are destined for each other so it means they are one step closer to becoming an actual couple.
Of course they go on a Singles date night. The irony of it all! How cute.
But seriously, Zhou Zhen, stop looking so sad all the time. You’re totally enjoying it. Live it up. Smile a little.
Oh hot damn, more symbolism.
I really don’t like the ex-girlfriend. She’s totally gonna be coming back to try and get Zhou Zhen back…but…but her new boyfriend is pretty attractive! I’m so jealous right now!
A rare smile! Look how couple-y they look here. Suck it, ex-girlfriend.
But there was seriously so much foreshadowing and symbolism in this episode. For example, as stated above, there was the door scene in which Zhou Zhen’s ex-girlfriend is trying to leave and Xiao Shu is trying to enter the restaurant. They are both obstructing each other’s pathway. Zhou Zhen’s ex girlfriend is trying to forget Zhou Zhen because of his past but she knows she can’t because she still has feelings for him even if she doesn’t want to admit it herself. On the other hand, we have Xiao Shu who is unknowingly worming herself into Zhou Zhen’s heart. You would think they would both be pretty observant about the fact that they are both falling for each other but apparently not. And both female charters are both blocked by the fact that the door, which represents Zhou Zhen, can only stay in one direction. He might have feelings for both but in the end he will have to choose to only let one in (Xiao Shu) and his ex-girlfriend will need to find it in herself to let herself out.
And there was also the tarot card scene, the rings scene, etc.
And the baseball game was so adorable. It was nice to see Zhou Zhen let himself go and enjoy himself for the first time.
He’s totally enjoying her shenanigans. Apparently, he just needed a carefree girl to make him open up and SMILE. (Finally!)
[caption id="attachment_172250" align="alignnone" width="585"] Let's celebrate!
Yes, the office scene was uber dramatic but can we take some time to appreciate how pretty their office is. Seriously. I wanna work in a place like that. As ZombieMamma said, looks fun!
[caption id="attachment_172251" align="alignnone" width="585"] (In which Debo completely misses the point)
The plethora of shelves also just makes it look so spacious and modern.
And yes! Gao Zhe Zuan and Xiao Shu were childhood friends. Brace yourselves; I smell a love square coming.
[caption id="attachment_172252" align="alignnone" width="585"] Yummy yummy in mah tummy
Mom and dad obviously like him
So Gao Zhe Zhen is one step closer to Xiao Shu than Zhou Zhen is. Jia You, Zhou Zhen!
I really wished Xiao Shu would just get her parents’ help on the selling of the radio problem because it would be easier to deal with it with other people’s help than just by oneself.
Ugg. This guy.
And the pervert plan part of the show was really funny. They are so gonna get together in the end. And no matter what, I really don’t hate Ying Ying that much. Yes, she is a spoiled princess but I don’t find her so annoying that I dislike her with the wrath of a thousand angry wasps.
Zhou Zhen and Xiao Shu are texting!! –Hearts-
And playing baseball together like a couple.
