With all of the excitement of last week's episode, I was afraid this week would be a bit of a let down (blame it on watching too much Mischievous Kiss). Needless to say, I was more than a little happy to find that while this episode was a little slower paced it still provided enough heart-throbbing moments to leave me, not only grinning like a Cheshire cat (again), but wishing for more. (Sometimes a hour just isn't long enough!) belltower (650x365) Like Xiao Shu and the rest of the Sound of Asia staff, I was really sad to see Zhou Zhen leaving so soon. It seems like he only just started at the radio station and now we have to say goodbye to him in that role. *sniff* This leaves me wondering whether or not Zhen will actually be able to stay away from the Sound of Asia for long. Something makes me think he won't but this show has way of doing things exactly the opposite of everything I expect it to, so I suppose we're just going to have to wait and see. I could see the friend Fei Fei suggested fill Zhen's position at the station bringing some kind of conflict with him that would draw Zhou Zhen back, but at this point it's all just speculation and probably won't come to anything at all. baseball hugs (650x365) The up-side of having Zhen leave the station is having an excuse to throw him a welcome/farewell party which, in turn, provides a way for our lead couple to spend some quality time together. *cue the heart-throbbing baseball scene* I love that baseball seems to be this couple's go-to activity. Not only is it a fun way to spend time together, but it provides the perfect excuse for Zhen to put his arms around Xiao Shu. *heh heh* It's no wonder neither Xiao Shu nor Zhen could fall asleep that night. restless nights (650x365) Naturally, a sleepless night for Xiao Shu would leave her wondering just how much she likes Zhen. Lucky for her she has Jessica around to push her just enough to get her to admit her feelings and encourage her to take the next step, which in this case means paying a visit to the matchmaking god's shrine and finding a way to get Zhen to eat Xiao Shu's love candy. Personally, having all of my future happiness depending on whether or not I can get the guy I like to eat a special piece of candy doesn't seem like a great idea but in this case it not only worked out, but provided another heart-throbbing moment for poor saps like myself who melt every time our hero gets to step up and show us exactly why he's the hero. *swoon* you ate my candy (650x365) As great as it was to watch Zhen eat Xiao Shu's love candy I thought it was even better to watch Fei Li eat Jessica's. As you probably know, I've been a fan of Fei Li for quite some time now and I'm really, really hoping something good happens between him and Jessica. I think they'd be great together and I'm now going to officially ship them as a couple. Of course, I'm still shipping Ying Ying and Gao Zhe Xuan, who were so stinking cute in this episode. I couldn't help but laugh as all of Ying Ying's attempts to annoy Gao Zhe Xuan did nothing more than make him look absolutely adorable. Did anyone else catch the look on Ying Ying's face when Pei Li mentioned Gao Zhe Xuan's representation "of the good and perfect husband." It seems to me Ying Ying's going to start seeing Zhe Xuan in a whole new light from now on. *yay* pondering (650x365) So what was your favorite part of this episode? Did anyone else get a kick out of Ying Ying's fashion make-over for her family? I was rolling on the floor when Zhou Zhen said he looked like Harry Potter. makeovers suck (650x365) What about the Sound of Asia staff's trip to Zhen's hotel? I'm sure all of you James fans enjoyed the pool scene. Did anyone hope James would've been the one to eat Jessica's love candy?
