Here we are at the end of a deliciously enjoyable show and all I can think during the majority of it is, "Sun Woo... It is the last episode! Ain't nobody got time for that!" 12-2 I know that a lot of people will hate the ending of this show because it was not packaged up in a nice little box with a "pretty bowtie" ending; I on the other hand really enjoyed the way things unfolded. 12-3 The best part was seeing the misunderstanding between Creepy Ahjussi and Sae Hee’s mom unfold. I never thought that her mother cheated Sae Hee's father (but I was prepared for the tiniest possibility if she did). Even though the relationship between Sae Hee and her mom seemed significantly better, I cannot help but dislike the fact that she lost so much time being mad over a misunderstanding. 12-4 Sae Hee believing that she is the cause of her father’s death is also a misconception that I know she will be able to work through as she gets older. Hopefully, she will understand that her father will always want to protect her from danger—if the same thing happened all over again, he would make the same choice… that is what good daddy’s do. 12-5 The biggest let down (not to be confused with a disappointment— you have to expect it to come about to be disappointed) is the couple that is not meant to be of 2013. The show gave me a glimmer of hope in episode 8 that they could be something more… but gave me a dose of reality in the end. 12-6 However, I am disappointed in Sun Woo. I thought that he was better than the note we ended on. I am not asking him to like Na Na because it would be a double standard, but you can't show out after Sae Hee told you she's just not that into you... It was a silly move on his part that really made me want to pop him in the eye. All cool points out the window (by the way—Kang Ha Neul will be in Heirs with Lee Min Ho… E-Kun’s tip of the day), but they can be restored… 12-7 If my heart broke for anybody in this ending it was Na Na. Smart, pretty, talented, and misunderstood. I know that she will be alright after time passes, but I can’t help but feel like something is missing with the way her storyline played out—then again, since this ending was not a package perfect ending, I should really expect the ball to be dropped with someone’s storyline. 12-8 Seol Chan's mom is the worst. It is bad enough that he was adopted, but you actually had the nerve to return him to the orphanage and adopt him again— the question marks in my eyes and brain are swimming with no place to go. Her position is difficult for me to understand and I will not try, but I can say that I don’t like what she did. Once again, I have to be resolved in the fact that Seol Chan seems to be dealing with the issue in great strides. I am optimistic they will be able to work through their issues. And you are right Seol Chan, "God is faithful- He will not tempt you with more than you can endure (1 Corinthians 10:13)." Quoted by him while comforting Sae Hee/ himself. 12-9 Seol Chan's willingness to break his pride for his friends shows a tremendous growth in his maturity from episode one— but perhaps this is the first time he felt that he had friends to consider real friends. It also warmed my heart as he played his love song/ confession to Sae Hee; using his artistic flare to express his feelings in the only way he knows how (floating on a cloud- E- Kun... You have to finish the review!). In any event, I was happy to see how he has grown and loved what he said at the end, "Love Came—That one name that pierces through the deepest area of existence is… was Love." 12-10 It’s been real… Glad that the show ended in way that I do not feel like my time was wasted. I hope the rest of you Monstar fans feel the same. PEACE! 12-11   More MONSTAR Drama Club!
