Imagine living in an exquisite house, full of stylish furniture and unique decorative touches. Then add a slipper toss to figure out who gets to use a certain bathroom. Oh, and don’t forget about the sit-ups challenge that can change a room arrangement. So what items in the Roommate house would you play a game for if you could? How about the entire house (go big or go home--or is that the same thing in this case)? Welcome to Roommate episode 13, in which luxurious surroundings and amenities meet variety games. Time for some Roommate interior design envy. Cheers!

Lore: First off I need to get this off my chest. I want those hedgehog / porcupine pillows from Se Ho and Dong Wook’s room. A lot. Probably more than is healthy. But I would take the entire house too, of course. Which would leave me like Baekhyun (the adorable puppy that he is) commenting how weird it felt to be in a house he only saw on television. I would likely be wandering around with stars in my eyes if I ever had the chance to so much set foot in the Roommate abode (which will happen never).

It was fun to see the cast reveal what items they had their eye on during the suggestion box game. I was surprised on a few things- like how messy Min Woo and Kang Joon’s bathroom is. I was also surprised by the magic clothes steamer closet thing, which is something I never knew existed (as you can tell I am at the height of fashion and I definitely do not use my dryer as my only form of ironing, nope). The simple game idea was fun, and the results were hilarious. I am guessing the roomies had never considered that a few pushups could end in a room assignment change until they decided to embark on the suggestion box challenge.

Speaking of rooms, I find myself envious of a little bit of something from each bedroom. The balcony on Nana and Soo Hyun’s room would be a perfect place to curl up with a good book on a nice afternoon. I would love the fridge from Se Ho and Dong Wook’s room (what can I say, I am a sucker for convenience). So Ra and Ga Yeon’s room has a really nice closet, while I like the desk cubby from Min Woo and Kang Joon’s room. Oh, and I want Chan Yeol’s bedding, only partially because of the beagle pillows and mostly because his blanket looks really warm. I also really like the dining room table. Oh, and the living room couch.

In conclusion- I would like the entire house please. Giant bow on top is optional. I would even be willing to enter a hula hoop contest for it, I am that serious.*Sigh* A girl can dream.

Rosie: Lore, you’re on for the hula hoop match!

Although I think Baek Hyun may beat you to the hedgehog pillows!

The Roommate house really is a dream house, not unlike the Barbie Dream House I had as a child, just less pink and with infinitely less cameras capturing my every move. Actually, take away the cameras and the possibility that I could embarrass myself and ruin my entertainment career in the eyes of all Korean society (this is all hypothetical anyway) and I could happily move in! Shared household chores, Sung Woo to cook food for you and your guests whenever someone’s stomach so much as grumbles in complaint… pretty much perfect.

Some of my favorite Roommate moments were when the houseguests first moved in and they spent half the day investigating the house and the things in it, already looking like they’d stepped into a Wonderland. But the best thing has been to see how the Roommate house went for a shiny brand new commodity to a lived in share house. Every member has added to it or given it their own personal touch. With every guest and every new house tour we get to see more of it. Seriously, where has that patio swing in Nana and Soo Hyun’s room been hiding this whole time?

So many great things to covet!

And yet, not everything is perfect in the shiny house of gold. Like Min Woo and Kang Joon’s bathroom. It leaks water, and… is that a dirty tissue on the floor? Definitely time for a switch.

Oh, and apparently Dong Wook doesn’t have a hair dryer. Important exchanges happened this episode.
