[caption id="attachment_173554" align="alignnone" width="585"]sharkep11pic3 Dear god of Shark, please smack Hae Woo. Amen.[/caption] I learned some important things about our Shark people this week. Hae Woo wanted to find Yi Soo, not to help him reveal the truth, but to feel less guilty about her family's involvement, and also that somewhere deep, deep inside of Kim Jun/ Yi Soo is an actual human soul. Let's not make this awkward or anything...
In episodes 11 and 12 it felt like Kim Jun was trying to hold Yi Soo inside of him with all of his might. Little glimpses of his inner past kept creeping out around Hae Woo and his cute little sister Yi Hyun. He had to continually remind himself of his goal in order to keep from completely confessing his identity. I am glad to see more of his personality because I was beginning to think he was a robot created by the Japanese in order to infiltrate the Korean Hospitality industry. Unfortunately, Hae Woo is the one who figured it out. She didn't try to see the situation from Yi Soo perspective and immediately begged him to stop in, what I believe to be, an attempt to save herself and her family. I really want Yi Hyun to find out Yi Soo is alive because it breaks my heart when she cries. [caption id="attachment_173560" align="alignnone" width="585"]sharkep12pic3 opppppa![/caption] [caption id="attachment_173553" align="alignnone" width="585"]sharkep11pic1 Ah, I see what you're doing there![/caption] As for Joon Young's involvement in this twisted game, he finally found out that his father is a major player in the deception. I feel a little bad for him, but he and Hae Woo both need the wake up call. Living in a world that looks as clean as Mayberry on the outside, but is as filthy as Gotham underneath isn't true happiness. They both need to face reality and decide how to put the pieces together. Whether they stay married until episode 20 or end up separating, at this point I'm not sure which I would prefer. [caption id="attachment_173555" align="alignnone" width="585"]sharkep11pic4 World's best grandpa right here folks![/caption] [caption id="attachment_173558" align="alignnone" width="585"]sharkep12pic1 I really can't with this guy[/caption] Big Jo and lil Jo are really pissing me off. Big Jo likes to think of himself as a great man who does bad things to protect his family. I think Big Jo's act is worse than lil Jo's blatant douchery because he is not only lying to everyone around him, but also to himself. While lil Jo could be easily stopped due to his fear and desire for self preservation, Big Jo will probably go to the end thinking he was doing the right thing. [caption id="attachment_173562" align="alignnone" width="585"]sharkep12pic5 Click that pen one more time, and I will kill you with it![/caption] So, the war is on between Big Jo and Yi Soo. They have both acknowledged each other, and now they are circling each other like hungry sharks. I want to see clicky pen man get what's coming to him, and I want Big and lil Jo to FINALLY pay the consequences for all of the evil deeds they have done.
