sharkep15pic1 These episodes were very emotional for me. There had been a few moments in the prior 14 episodes where I might have teared up a little or felt a pang of sadness for our hero Yi Soo, but I was bawling when he and Yi Hyun were finally truly reunited. When she was talking to him on the phone while being held hostage and realized it was her supposedly dead oppa, I lost it. Pretty much every time Yi Hyun cried during episodes 15 and 16, I was crying with her. I must say that the "love" (family love, obviously) story between Yi Soo and Yi Hyun is stronger and filled with more yearning than Yi Soo and Hae Woo's love story. I find the brother-sister connection so far to be fleshed out more than the childhood sweethearts'. sharkep15pic3 Yi Soo finally said to Hae Woo what I have been thinking for weeks now.  She is merely getting in the way of everyone. She isn't helping Yi Soo reveal the truth, she isn't standing by her husband while his father is on his deathbed, she isn't even choosing to have some conviction and side with her family. At this point I would rather her just pick any side, whether it be Yi Soo or the Jo family, and stop acting like a scared little girl. She continues to threaten to find the truth and reveal it, but all she's doing now is running after Yi Soo and making trouble for everyone else. [caption id="attachment_176363" align="alignnone" width="650"]sharkep15pic4 This bitch did not just hang up on me![/caption] Now that Joon Young knows that Kim Jun is Yi Soo, and that him and Hae Woo have been lip touching, back hugging, and whatnot, I am anxious to see what his reaction will be. On one hand he just found out that one of his best friends from high school is, in fact, not dead, so he could be somewhat happy about that, but more likely he will be upset that his wife is lying to him and is clearly in love with another man, and has been for 12 years while they have been together. Either way, I find it hard to imagine them having a strong and loving marriage after this all goes down. sharkep16pic1 I appreciated the scene between daddy Jo's mistress and Hae Woo in episode 16. It forced Hae Woo (and the writers of Shark) to confront the obvious hypocrisy in her behavior as adult when compared to her righteous speech she gave as a teenager. Now that Hae Woo is two timing Joon Young, maybe she can drop her righteous act and really make a decision. sharkep16pic2 sharkep15pic2 As far as Secretary Jang, I think she is pulling a Hae Woo. She is clearly assisting Yoshimura in using Yi Soo to destroy grandpa Jo, but she cares a great deal about Yi Soo and is constantly worrying about him. The only lady in this drama that isn't annoying me at this moment is Yi Hyun. All I want is Yi Soo and Yi Hyun to be happy in the end. Is that too much to ask?
