shark 18-13 Well, we're coming to the end of Shark and in celebration, I thought I'd give Hae Woo a break from my now traditional bashing of her choices (or lack thereof) throughout the show. So, relax, Hae Woo. For now. shark 18-11 It's interesting that Yi Soo has always taken it upon himself to force those who have wronged his family to come face-to-face with the truth, but now that he's forced to come face-to-face with who his father truly was, will "the end" mean that he'll have to let go of his anger/vengeance plan all together? Can he even do that? Either way we look at it, Grandpa Jo may have done many bad things, but Yi Soo's father may be guilty of doing just as many bad things. The only difference is that it seems Yi Soo's father was looking for repentance.  It's one of the themes of this series and it turns out to be true: No one has the right to judge others. shark 18-1 Although, Yi Soo may have bigger problems if Detective Kim decides to go after him after finding out Yi Soo's father killed his father. Yi Soo had no qualms going after a man that hurt so many people to avenge his father, so can he blame Detective Kim if he comes after Yi Soo for the sins his father committed?  One thing I love about this show is that it believes in making all of the characters deal with themselves and their actions, eventually. I mean, who would have thought Dong Soo would be responsible for making Turncoat Jang deal with her spying ways? shark 18-8 I don't know about you guys, but I'm starting to think that in this world of antiheroes, Dong Soo and his impeccable timing are the real heroes in the series. Now if only he used his powers to sit Hae Woo and Joon Young down to make them deal with the fact that their marriage is over. shark 18-7 This is a not a dig at Hae Woo! shark 17-17 As a matter of fact, I think Hae Woo is the only one that is slowly but surely snapping out the state of denial both of them have been living in for the length of this marriage. It's sad to see Joon Young try so desperately to hang on to her when he knows he's already lost her. There's a good chance he never even had her. At this point, their theme song should be Freda Payne's Band of Gold. Great song, just not something you want to represent your marriage. shark 18-9 Honestly, he's become a sad sight over the course of the series, but this week he finally got ahead of the curve!! Well, slightly, at least. Who would have thought a blinking game could be so informative, right? Is it too much to hope at this point that Joon Young will realize that he and Yi Soo are going up the same person and that it would it best to join forces? Or would it be a little awkward since Yi Soo has kind of been, you know, "hanging out" with his wife? shark 18-6   More SHARK Drama Club: Episodes 17-18 [ Part 1 ] [ Part 2 ] [ Part 3 ] [ Part 4 ] Episodes 15-16 [ Part 1 ] [ Part 2 ] [ Part 3 ] [ Part 4 ] Episodes 13-14 [ Part 1 ] [ Part 2 ] [ Part 3 ] [ Part 4 ] Episodes 11-12 [ Part 1 ] [ Part 2 ] [ Part 3 ] [ Part 4 ] Episodes 9-10 [ Part 1 ] [ Part 2 ] [ Part 3 ] [ Part 4 ] Episodes 7-8 [ Part 1 ] [ Part 2 ] [ Part 3 ] [ Part 4 ] Episodes 1-6 [ Part 1 ] [ Part 2 ] [ Part 3 ] [ Part 4 ] Check out the SHARK Drama Club’s individual blogs!
