Monstar keeps surprising me with each new episode. Episode 8 made my heart beat so fast that I thought it was going to explode and then made me cry a whole lake onto my floor. monstar ep 8 4-3 We all predicted that they are not actually going to win, but I still had some hope. Sadly no-one is able to talk over that annoying All-for-one biased man. Fortunately, losing the battle helps the drama to move onto love-lines and background stories. monstar ep 8 2 I like how Seon Woo is a man of his words when it comes to Nana, but I did not like how he acted like he was working on a charity case - just trying to do the minimum of what it took to please her. Though Kim Nana seemed really happy, as happy as her expressions can show, I felt that deep in her heart she understood that Seon Woo did not see her as a love-interest. That can hurt badly, especially when a minute later you see him playing “hero” to the girl he likes. In a weird way Seon Woo is super talented at hurting both Kim Nana and Seol Chan at the same time with his actions. Monstar ep 8 3-1 While Seon Woo and Kim Nana “enjoy” each other’s company, Seol Chan has finally invited Se Yi out on a date. Of course, there are a lot of different reasons why Se Yi should do it and how Seol Chan just cannot invite anyone else. But, how I adore them when they are like lost lambs in their feelings! Their date is the exact opposite of the Seon Woo x Nana date, because they feel rather comfortable being by themselves. The little date made them become closer and you can see the lovey-dovey looks in their eyes. monstar ep 8 4-2   Monstar ep 8 4-5 Sadly Seol Chan’s and Se Yi’s happy date is ruined by annoying paparazzi, who pushes the dating topic and finally makes Se Yi date Seon Woo against her will. This scene made me so furious! The way Seon Woo thought he was saving everyone, the way Se Yi hoped that Seol Chan would claim that the two of them were dating, while Seol Chan’s heart and wishes got stepped on again. It is logical that Seol Chan wants to ward the public eye off of Se Yi and they did talk about only “one-day-dates”, so girls do not get your hopes up so easily, he is the nation’s star! That all leads them to a weird way of rejecting each other, because neither of them actually confesses. monstar ep 8 b But the one who declares his feelings to everyone is Seon Woo. It is an arbitrary moment, but it seems that water in his closed eyes started to boil from seeing Seol Chan and Se Yi on a date, when she had declined his own offer. monstar ep 8 6 The most critical moment arrives when Kyu Dong’s bulling reaches its final moment. I understand both Kyu Dong’s and Do Nam’s reasons, but in every fight there should come a point of forgiving. The hatred towards the other and oneself is too much to carry inside, especially when one is already ready to take the final step to ask forgiveness from a higher force. monstar ep 8 7 Unlike Kyu Dong, we still have several steps to take before the end of drama.
