DramaFever Weekly Top 10 for August 11th to August 17th
I predict Okinawa is going to be the next hot vacation destination for K-drama fans and lovers. Why? Just check out It's Okay, That's Love, which has firmly grasped #1 on our Top 10 list. And there is a surprising new entry that leaped into the Top 10 in the show's first week on DramaFever.
Skip Beat came out of the gate flying as it leaped into #8 on our Top 10 list. It's really quite a feat for a show that is from 2011, but, as many readers of 8 Reasons To Watch Skip Beat pointed out, not only does it have Super Junior's Choi Si Won and Lee Dong Hae, but it also stars Taiwanese actress Ivy Chen, who really made the manga-based drama come alive. I see that episode 13 has come out, and I can't wait to watch it.
Another must-watch is Fall In Love With Me, and it'd better have a happy ending. As we bid farewell to Trot Lovers and its pair of happy songbirds, I want to give a special hug to Shin Sung Rok. He almost gave me the second lead syndrome, and I really enjoyed his surprisingly comedic and lovable turn. Hope he gets the girl next time.
Life is busy but good: I now have 3 excellent men to keep me company: Jung Il Woo finally showed up in episode 3 of The Night Watchman's Journal, and it's like the sun came out! (That's why he put on a pair of shades.) Lee Joon Ki is embroiled in dangers from all sides in The Joseon Gunman, and it makes my heart break for him. And now, Choi Si Won, what a cutie he is, and I will from now on search for more of his work. I've had a rule to only watch one historical at a time, but I'm breaking that rule as you see.
Here are last week's Weekly Top 10 shows in order of most popular:
