Halfway through watching Birth of a Beauty, I had to stop and check the remaining time on the video. Whew, there was still another 30 minutes left. This is how engrossed I am with not just Beauty, but also Pinocchio, and Seo In Guk, who is showing us his hot manly side in the The King's Face. Check out last week's Top 10 list according to our total view count. How about you? Which are your favorite must-watch shows now? (The postcard-like photo is from Pinocchio.)

As for Pinocchio, I had to pause at the scene of their most beautiful kiss under the flickering winter lights framing it like a winter Valentine's card. I wanted to savor it before I continued watching. What a romantic kiss it was! And it came at a serendipitous moment in time and space. I really have to thank the Script-writing Goddess who gave us the story and the characters in the first place, but then the actors, the director, and the production team all came together to make it such an enjoyable experience for the viewers. I'm not sure when the show will end, but this wonderful drama has been a great gift for the holiday season.

Have you watched The King's Face? I loved seeing Seo In Guk showing his manly side when he told his one true love how he would always follow her. Also, when he told the King, his calculating father and the ruthless, untrustworthy head of his people, what he'll do to reform the unfair system in the nation, I just wanted to jump up and high five for our hero! Keep up with the show with our swashbuckling drama club writers HERE.

In other news:

There are a lot of new shows starting this week. Remember to check CoCo's excellent weekly update on what's coming up as you plan your watch list. LOL, my watch list is growing fast.

The fabulous Kim Ah Joong, who starred with Joo Won in Steal My Heart, comes back with a new drama series, Punch, co-starring Kim Rae Won, who just completed the Gangnam 1970 movie with Lee Min Ho. Need I say more? I'm feeling breathless as I type. This is a must-try! What's more, the new show starts today, Monday, December 15. Sign up HERE for new episode alerts.

Bottled Passion, starring Raymond Wong and Niki Chow, starts on Tuesday.

Detectives of Seonam Girls' High School, starring Jin Ji Hee and Kim Min Joon (who I've been in love with ever since Damo), starts on Wednesday.

This week's movie is War of the Arrows, starring Park Hae Il and Moon Chae Won. The movie was a blockbuster hit when it came out. I've already seen it and highly recommend it. If you are a Premium member, you get to watch it as early as Wednesday. Sign up HERE to be alerted when it's ready for you.
