Quite a few surprises this week, but it's no surprise at all that Emergency Couple leaped into our consciousness and to the Top 10 list. Choi Jin Hyuk and Song Ji Hyo are such a cute couple, that is, when they are not killing each other! Apology to My Love From Another Star, but another show pushed it down a notch. Guess which show!

Here they are in order of most popular:

1. Heirs

2. Prime Minister and I

3. Pretty Man

4. My Love From Another Star

5. Emergency Couple

6. Running Man

7. Boys Over Flowers

8. After School: Lucky Or Not

9. Golden Rainbow

10. The Moon That Embraces The Sun - Doblado al Espano and Prince of Lan Ling (tied)

Emergency Couple leaped to the 5th place in our weekly list with its opening episodes. This is quite an achievement because even My Love From Another Star started with the 8th place in its first week.

I'm really impressed by the lavishly produced Prince of Lan Ling with its beautiful love story. If you haven't had a chance to watch it, please give it a try, or at least read my recent article about Feng Shao Feng playing the most beautiful man in China.

The Spanish edition of The Moon Embracing the Sun also made it to the list. I got curious and played a bit of the first episode. Wow, I did not know it was dubbed in Spanish. So that's what "Doblado al Espano" means. (I'm so embarrassed.) All this time I thought it was subbed in Spanish like how all the Asian shows are subbed in English but spoken in the original language. Anyway, I've watched TMETS so many times that I probably could memorize the dialogue.

After School: Lucky or Not also entered the list at a good spot. I'm curious about the show since I don't know anything about it. Let me know if you are watching and how you like it.

By the way, Prime Minister and I was the show that pushed MLFAS down a notch from last week. Both dramas are also entering that spot in the series where pivotal events are happening and keeping us glued to the screen. I started watching MLFAS thinking it would surely have a happy ending, but I can't help but feel that the tears from Do Min Joon signal a possible *gulp* separation eventually. A plea to the script-writing goddess: We need him to become happily united with his love and stay alive to fight evil on Earth. In the meantime, many of the scenes in MLFAS remind me of beautiful paintings. I just loved that time freeze where he could kiss her without hiding his heart.

Finally, if I didn't mention the prince of K-drama, even though he has not played a prince yet, I wouldn't be able to smile, so I'm using his photo for the cover image.
