DramaFever Weekly Top 10 for January 5 to January 11, 2015
Will Beauty crush her evil enemies in her food processor? How high will Healer leap? What will Pinocchio do to unravel a puzzle, and what will my favorite crown prince with The King's Face do to a hated invader? Let's take a look at the new Weekly Top 10 list and see a well-deserving new entry.
With Birth of a Beauty reaching its expected grand finale, I'm really going to miss it. Even more, the combination of all my favorite shows at the moment has brought great cheers to warm one of the coldest winters we've had. Ever since I started watching Asian dramas, I don't recall a time like this when multiple dramas have kept me so glued to the screen. If only I could watch while I sleep....
So, did anybody become breathless as Healer Ji Chang Wook almost touched his love's hair in that elevator scene? This show is simply getting better and better, and we haven't seen the best part yet! You know what I mean, the moment when the girl finds out who her Korean Superhero really is! While I can practically hear our resident fangirls squeal, will anyone confess how many times you watched the last 10 minutes of episode 9?
Pinocchio is entering a very suspenseful stage that's guaranteed to keep you on the edge. At this point, the romance is going well once the two lovers reconnect, but I was surprised by how they came up with a solution to their complex predicament. (Thank you, Scriptwriter Goddess!) I don't want to give it away but the next episode is going to be a thrill to watch. In the meantime, I feel really sorry for Bum Jo, but it gives the handsome Kim Young Kwang something else to do other than moping about missing out on the girl.
In other news:
We say goodbye to Say I Do Again and welcome a brand new Taiwanese drama Someone Like You, which is simulcast weekly. The latest news from Taiwan is that Someone Like You has emerged to be #1 there. With the Chinese title of "I Hear Happiness," the new drama is a tender love story, and it's wonderful to see the lovable Kirsten Ren again. Did you know her heartthrob from In A Good Way, Lego Lee, is currently in Aim High?
There is also a new Taiwanese drama added to our collection: Dear Mom is about a household of four daughters returning to live with their mom after some ups and downs in life. It promises to be a romantic comedy. Sign up HERE for episode alerts.

Yay, Choi Jin Hyuk's Pride And Prejudice finally joined the Top 10 List. The drama has been among the top leading shows in South Korea, and I'm glad to see it on our list finally. It's a great time to start a marathon watch as it comes to an end with episode 21 this week.
