Lee Joon Ki's new action romance, The Joseon Gunman, shot into the Top 10, and it's no surprise to me because I just spent 6 hours in a marathon to get all I could of this thrilling drama. I can't praise it enough for its perfect blend of love, suspense and adventure within a historical background. There are other shows to be excited about too.

Doctor Stranger reached its finale last week. Although it was a happy ending, it came only after another incredible crisis. All in all, it was a show that kept us guessing with its twists and turns. I would have preferred the show to be extended to give us more explanations, but my heart probably couldn't have taken the suspense anymore. This drama has been great due to the fantastic performances we witnessed from Lee Jong Suk, Park Hae Jin and Kang So Ra.

I consider Doctor Stranger a BOGO, you know, when you 'Buy One and Get One Free'? Not only did we have the suspense of a North Korean refugee/genius doctor, we also got a vengeful doctor in disguise. The two equally strong themes intertwined to make one compelling drama. Another BOGO is Trot Lovers. We have not just one hot leading man, Ji Hyun Woo (check out his photo!), but also a surprisingly eye-catching second lead. You'd never guess that the evil killer in My Love From Another Star, Shin Sung Rok, is showing his fun and eclectic side. Shin is really adorable and is even outshining Ji at this point in the story!

Here are last week's Weekly Top 10 shows in order of most popular:

1. Roommate

2. Doctor Stranger

3. Running Man

4. Heirs

5. You Are All Surrounded

6. Trot Lovers

7. Joseon Gunman

8. We Got Married, Global Edition Season 2

9. My Love From Another Star

10. Angel Eyes

In other news:

New romance drama Temptation will start now that Dr. Park is living happily in the countryside. Triangle has been extended to 26 episodes, meaning Jung Il Woo's The Night Watchman's Journal will be delayed.

Wishing you all another wonderful week of drama watching!
